Biography

Pilvi Kokkonen is a trumpet player from Oulu, Finland. Having studied in Helsinki and Amsterdam under Erik Velkamp, Ruud Breuls, Teemu Mattsson and Tero Saarti, she’s gone on to perform all around Europe with various Jazz Orchestras. Kokkonen has also maintained a position for three years in the Finnish Air Force Big Band. In recent years Kokkonen has taken part in the Jong Metropole and Luis Bonilla’s JM Jazz World Orchestra
